How to Swap

This guide walks you through swapping tokens on HyperAMM.

Prerequisites​

  • Wallet connected to Hyperliquid EVM
  • Tokens in your wallet (e.g., USDC, UBTC, UETH, HYPE)

Steps​

1. Navigate to Swap​

Go to app.hyperamm.xyz and select Swap from the navigation.

2. Select Tokens​

  • Choose your Pay token (the token you're selling)
  • Choose your Receive token (the token you want to receive)
  • Use the swap direction button between the two fields to quickly reverse the pair

3. Enter Amount​

Enter the amount you want to swap in the Pay field. You can use the HALF or MAX buttons to quickly fill from your balance. The quote updates automatically as you type.

4. Review the Quote​

The quote card below the form shows:

  • Rate — The exchange rate between the two tokens (click to invert)
  • Min Receive — The minimum amount you'll receive after slippage tolerance
  • Slippage — Your current slippage tolerance setting

The price impact is displayed below the receive amount if non-zero.

5. Approve Token (if needed)​

If this is your first time swapping a token, you'll need to approve it first:

  1. Click Approve TOKEN
  2. Confirm the approval in your wallet
  3. Wait for confirmation — the button changes to Swap when ready

Native HYPE does not require approval.

6. Confirm the Swap​

  1. Click Swap
  2. Confirm the transaction in your wallet
  3. Wait for confirmation

The swap settles atomically — your output tokens arrive in the same transaction.

Settings​

Click the gear icon to adjust:

  • Slippage tolerance — Choose from Auto (0.5%), 0.1%, 0.5%, 1%, or set a custom value

Multi-Hop Swaps​

If there's no direct pool for your token pair, the swap router automatically finds the best path through intermediate pools. Multi-hop routing is handled transparently — you always get the best available rate.

Swap History​

After connecting your wallet, click Show History below the swap form to view your past swaps with amounts, rates, and block explorer links.
