How to Unstake
Convert your sHYPE back to HYPE through the unstaking process.
Steps
1. Navigate to Staking
Go to the Stake page and select the Unstake tab.
2. Enter Unstake Amount
Enter the amount of sHYPE to unstake. The interface shows the estimated HYPE you'll receive based on the current exchange rate.
3. Confirm the Unstake
- Click Unstake
- Confirm the transaction in your wallet
- Your sHYPE tokens are locked in the contract and the unstake request enters the queue
4. Wait for the Queue
Unstake requests are processed through a FIFO queue:
- Track status in your Portfolio under pending actions
- The protocol undelegates from the validator and bridges HYPE back to EVM

5. Claim Your HYPE
Once processed:
- Go to Portfolio → Pending Actions
- Click Claim
- HYPE is sent to your wallet
Inline netting
If new staking deposits arrive while your unstake is pending, the protocol may satisfy your withdrawal directly from incoming deposits — potentially reducing wait time.
Fees
A 0.1% fee is applied at claim time on the total claim amount (principal + rewards). The fee is visible before you confirm.
